Up Cycled Old Jeans - Mobile Phone Holder Charger

This is a fab Idea and really really easy to do. I took an old pair of jeans, cut round the back pocket, cut a 1 1/2" wide piece of jean material sewed that right sides together so that it made a tube. The trickiest part about the whole thing was turning the tube inside out for the handle (was a little bit fiddly but I found that a knitting needle came in very handy for poking the material inside on itself).

Attached the handle, then used my fabulous rhinestone kit for my Brother Scan N Cut (which I have to say is my most favourite cutting machine ever!!!) and voila there you have it a lovely Mobile Phone Charger Holder.  Simply pop your mobile phone in the bag with your charger attached, plug it in and hang the bag off of the plug socket.  Keeps everything neat and tidy.

Crocheted Bits and Bobs Holder

I made this for my daughter so that she could hang it in her room to put things like her hairbrush, bobbles, clips etc.

Horsing Around

I love love love the latest CD from Crafters Companion Thelwell brings back so many memories from my childhood, (I also used to ride when I was younger and not very successfully, I think I possibly inspired some if not all of the Thelwell characters).

This card is a rocker card from the paper pack.

This Card is an Easel card from the paper pack.

Fabulous Shoes (Katy Sue Designs)

This is a card I made using Katy Sue Designs CD. I used my Scan N Cut machine to scan in the design of the card so that I could cut out the backing paper to the right size.

I layered up the decoupage added some glitter glue, a bow and stamped a Happy Birthday Sentiment.

Welcome

Welcome to my blog, I thought it was about time I had a go at blogging. If I am honest I am a bit nervous as it's not something I have ever done before so please be patient.
